From 2011, Tianjin Goldin Metropolitan Polo Club has hosted several prominent tournaments that have caught the attention of the sporting world. These world-class events prove our commitment to promoting the Game of Kings in China and secure our reputation of being one of the top private polo clubs and premier organisers of international polo tournaments in Asia.
World-class Stables and Horses
With up to 260 horses’ stables, Tianjin Goldin Metropolitan Polo Club is the leading polo venue in China. The Club is equipped with two training gallops, one indoor riding school and one outdoor arena that meet or exceed international standards. Each of these facilities has an all-weather Martin Collins surface, making Tianjin Goldin Metropolitan Polo Club the only polo facility with such a surface in China.
The ponies are of an equally high calibre. Over 200 horses from the world’s finest bloodlines have been imported from Australia, the Netherlands and New Zealand. To ensure they remain in the peak of health, Tianjin Goldin Metropolitan Polo Club has retained four full-time veterinarians on staff.
Ten coaches from Argentina, Australia, England and New Zealand have also been hired to provide the benefit of their experience to veteran and novice players alike.
