Skidmore Polo Club

Skidmore Polo Club has both Men’s and Women’s polo teams that compete representing Skidmore College. Skidmore College is located in Saratoga Springs NY situated just 3.5 hours from NYC, Boston and Montreal and additionally is home of the oldest thoroughbred racetrack in the US.

Skidmore Polo was founded in 1976 and competes in the USPA Intercollegiate northeastern region competing against teams such as Harvard, Yale, Cornell, University of Connecticut, Toronto and others.

Skidmore Polo owns a string of polo ponies that have all been donated to the team. Skidmore Polo’s ponies are boarded at facilities located just 1-2 miles from the main Skidmore campus.
